Edson Alvarez has again been linked with an exit from the club however there is no chance of it happening this month.
The defensive midfielder, who the club signed from Ajax the summer before last, seems to be continuously reported with a move away from east London – which paints the picture that it’s bound to happen sooner rather than later.
The latest links show Monaco are keen on the Mexican international, with the player understood too to be open to a move, however with the current situation at West Ham being as it is, the club are not going to entertain an exit unless the right money is offered.
The fact that the offer to date has been a loan move only screams an instant rejection from the club, which is what is understood to be the mindset at present.
Losing Alvarez mid-season really offers little if none at all benefit to West Ham, who now under a new Head Coach in Graham Potter, are keen to turn around a so far-dire campaign, which was lead by the incompetent Julen Lopetegui.
