AC Milan got the better of Inter late on in the first Derby della Madonnina of the season, and it seems that the Nerazzurri are already looking ahead to the return fixture.
The start of the season was difficult for Milan, and unfortunately, this has continued into the middle part of the season too. Nevertheless, there are still moments to look back on fondly, even if they are few and far between.
It could be argued that the derby victory against Inter was the pinnacle of the season so far, especially with a Milanista scoring the winner at the death – a result that the Rossoneri fought for and deserved with all things considered.
The loss is seemingly still stinging on the blue side of the city, and speaking to Quotidiano Sportivo earlier today, Piotr Zielinski revealed that he already has eyes on a goal in the Milan derby, after the events of the first this season – his words have been relayed by Milan Press.
“What do I expect in 2025? I would like to win many trophies with Inter, I hope for a year full of satisfaction, glory and goals. One of them maybe in the return derby. But if it’s already in the Super Cup I’m happy anyway.”
