Player-turned-pundit Jamie O’Hara had a lot to say recently about Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy. While reports indicate a strong mutual desire between the striker and Wolverhampton Wanderers, the talkSPORT media member believes that he'd be a good fit at a different former club of his.

O'Hara discussed the possibility of Vardy joining Tottenham Hotspur. The former midfielder made the case that the club needs someone to fill the role and that Vardy would be a good potential option to look into.

Particularly after a rough season under Ange Postecoglou, Spurs will be looking for ways to upgrade their roster. Vardy could provide something of a needed punch in the attack. While it wouldn't be enough to compete during 2025-2026 against the top Premier League teams, adding him should be able to help them avoid an ensuing near-relegation battle. Bringing someone in with EPL experience who can produce goals still is exactly what Tottenham need for their next campaign.

Either way, whether it ends up being with Wolves, Spurs, or even Arsenal, as some reports suggest, Vardy will likely need to feel comfortable in a reduced role quickly. While the veteran can still offer something on the attacking end of the pitch, him expecting to be a 90-minute starter for every game isn't a realistic expectation for a Prem side at this moment.

Move outside of Europe remains open for Leicester legend

If that is what he is after, by all means, a move to the MLS or Saudi League would make a tremendous amount of sense. On the other hand, his aim appears to be to remain in England's top flight. This is part of the reason why a move to a prospective Championship side is out of the question for the time being.

Considering his apparent intention is to remain in the EPL, he will likely know that at this stage in his career, it will have to mean a reduced role. Part of that sacrifice, however, comes with the potential of chasing additional silverware and being able to still play in the best league in the world.
