Alexis Mac Allister has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for April 2025 - his first time earning the award.

The Argentine international impressed with two goals and one assist in five appearances for Liverpool, playing a vital part in their push to secure a second Premier League title.

Mac Allister saw off a strong shortlist including Rayan Aït-Nouri, Harvey Barnes, Jacob Murphy, Morgan Rogers, Ryan Sessegnon, and Strand Larsen to claim the award.

His win marks the first time an Argentinian has received the monthly award since Sergio Agüero in January 2020 with Manchester City.

Mac Allister becomes only the fourth Argentine player to win the award, following in the footsteps of Agüero, Carlos Tevez, and Juan Sebastián Verón.

He’s also Liverpool’s second winner this season - Mohamed Salah picked up the prize in both November 2024 and February 2025.
