Serie A champions Inter Milan completed a total of seven deals during the recently completed January transfer window.
According to FCInter1908, only one was an incoming transfer, testifying to Beppe Marotta’s conservative market approach.
Nicola Zalewski swapped Roma for Inter toward the end of the winter transfer session.
Indeed, he joined forces with Simone Inzaghi on loan. However, Inter can make his move permanent in the summer.
But other than Zalewski, Inter didn’t add more players to Inzaghi’s squad.
Meanwhile, they sanctioned six exits, albeit just two outright.
Tajon Buchanan left the club to join Villarreal on loan with an option to buy after falling out of favor with Inzaghi.
And he’s one of only two senior stars to depart the San Siro this winter.

The other is Andrei Radu, who cut ties with the Nerazzurri to pledge his short-term future to Venezia.
In the meantime, teenage defender Tomas Palacios moved to Monza on loan to gain experience.
Young gun Issiaka Kamate returned from his loan stint at AVS only to switch to Modena.
The same goes for Jan Zuberek, who ended his brief spell at Lecco to team up with Avellino.
Finally, Reggiana shipped Alessandro Fontanarosa back to Inter before he signed for Carrarese.
