Real Madrid’s managerial future could take a dramatic turn depending on how the season unfolds.
According to journalist Rodra (via RM4 Arab), the club will make a crucial decision on Carlo Ancelotti’s tenure based on the team’s success in domestic and European competitions.
The journalist mentions that if the campaign ends without a La Liga title and with a disappointing Champions League run, the logical step would be to part ways with Ancelotti.
However, securing either of these trophies would ensure that he remains in charge until 2026.
After weeks of intense pressure, stability has returned to the Real Madrid dugout. Ancelotti has once again navigated through a difficult period, and the Champions League victory over Manchester City has eased the tension within the club.

The Italian manager remains fully committed to staying at Real Madrid, firmly believing that it is a club one should never walk away from. His current contract ties him to Los Blancos until 2026, and he is eager to continue leading the team.
Meanwhile, the Real Madrid board holds Ancelotti in high regard and considers him the ideal manager for the club. They appreciate his experience, leadership, and deep connection with the institution.
So much so that they have already outlined a future role for him within the organisation once his time as head coach comes to an end.
While the intention is not to dismiss him, Real Madrid have always been a results-driven club, where success dictates the direction of managerial decisions.
If the season ends in failure, without any major silverware, the club is expected to move on from Ancelotti. On the other hand, if he delivers a La Liga or Champions League triumph, he will remain in charge until 2026.
Meanwhile, Xabi Alonso continues to wait patiently, prepared and excited for the opportunity to one day take charge at the Santiago Bernabéu.
