Antony the GOAT? Real Betis poke fun at Vinícius Jr & Kylian Mbappé after win over Real Madrid | OneFootball

The social media team at La Liga outfit Real Betis have this weekend moved to have some fun at the expense of star Real Madrid pair Vinícius Jr. and Kylian Mbappé.

This, of course, comes fresh off the meeting between the two sides on Saturday.

Betis welcomed reigning Spanish champions Real to Seville yesterday evening, for a highly-anticipated La Liga clash.

And, when all was said and done, it was the former who emerged on the right side of the result.

After Brahim Díaz’s early opener was cancelled out by Johnny Cardoso, Isco came back to haunt his former employers with the game’s decisive goal from the penalty spot during the 2nd-half.

En route to their side’s eventual defeat, a whole host of Real Madrid’s stars struggled to impact the game in a positive manner.

Chief amongst this group were the aforementioned Vinícius Jr. and Kylian Mbappé, with the former, in particular, having been singled out for widespread criticism post-match.

And as alluded to above, quick to have some lighthearted fun at the expense of both players in the game’s aftermath were Real Betis themselves.

In a post on the club’s official ‘X’ account, the Verdiblancos unveiled an image of January signing Antony, accompanied by the caption:

‘Mbappé? Vinicius? There’s only one GOAT in my books’
