Liverpool boss Arne Slot has achieved a feat not even Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho or Alex Ferguson could match. What a start to life at Anfield.
Liverpool beat Southampton on Sunday. It's a win that puts them eight points clear at the top of the Premier League, with Manchester City trailing badly.
Pep Guardiola's side, in contrast, have lost their last five in all competitions. It's an unprecedented run of bad form from City - and it opens the door wide for Liverpool.
Especially as the Reds will welcome City to Anfield next weekend. That's an opportunity to go 11 points clear and recreate one of Jurgen Klopp's greatest nights.
But this is all only possible because Liverpool keep winning. Even Guardiola has conceded that's a problem.
The Reds are winning so much, in fact, that Slot has made history.
Slot has now won 10 Premier League games, doing so in 12 fixtures. This is the joint-fastest anyone has done it in England's top flight (since the rebrand).
And Slot is the only manager to do it with a team that isn't Chelsea. Both Carlo Ancelotti and Guus Hiddink managed 10 wins from 12 games, leaving the three of them at the top of the class.
Guardiola can't match that, then, nor can Jose Mourinho and Alex Ferguson. It's an incredible start to life in England - and it could get even better.
