The Courier report that Arsenal and St. Johnstone have agreed an initial six-figure fee for the transfer of Callan Hamill, with realistic add-ons and sell-ons likely to increase that figure.
Rangers, Celtic, and a number of Premier League clubs fought to sign Hamill last summer, but St. Johnstone managed to hold onto him at the time.
But Arsenal have gone on a charm offensive since then, and Hamill is reportedly set to sign a four-year deal with the club.
Despite losing one of their talented youngsters, St. Johnstone are reportedly impressed by the way Arsenal operated throughout this process.

Hamill is currently away with the Scotland u16s for a triple-header of matches against Cyprus, Romania, and Northern Ireland.
The first of the three friendlies took place on Wednesday, with Hamill scoring in a 3-1 win.
The 15-year-old is capable of playing multiple positions, including centre-back, full-back, and midfield.

Though he’s primarily played for St. Johnstone this season, Hamill has also spent time with Arsenal on a trial basis, including heading out to Brazil with the u17s for the Flamengo Adidas Cup. The Gunners ultimately lifted the trophy.
It seems the youngster will now join on a permanent in the coming months.
