Arsenal welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates in the Premier League this weekend.
The Gunners sit second in the table but with Liverpool unable to be caught, the full attention of Mikel Arteta’s side is on Europe. Arsenal lost 1-0 to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday and could look to rotate their options ahead of the return.
Bournemouth arrive in North London still harbouring European ambitions. Andoni Iraola’s side have secured a record-breaking Premier League points total for the second straight season. The Cherries are a point behind eighth-place Fulham, a position that could secure European football for next season.
Mikel Arteta has no new injury concerns following the club’s defeat to PSG in midweek.
Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Jesus, Riccardo Calafiori, Kai Havertz, Jorginho and Takehiro Tomiyasu all remain sidelined. Substitute goalkeeper Neto is added to the unavailable list this weekend with the on-loan goalkeeper unable to face his parent club.
Arsenal are expected to freshen up their side with one eye on the trip to PSG next week. Raheem Sterling, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Ethan Nwaneri are all options to return to the team.
Arsenal predicted XI: Raya; White, Saliba, Kiwior, Tierney; Odegaard, Partey, Zinchenko; Nwaneri, Merino, Sterling.
Arsenal host Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday 3rd May 2025. Kick-off at the Emirates is 17:30 BST.
This match will be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK.
