Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán as they look to strengthen their attack with an eye on the future.
Journalist Ben Jacobs reported that PSG are still keen on the Colombian forward but face a challenge due to Aston Villa’s £80 million asking price. This high valuation reflects Durán’s standout performances and his recent contract extension.
Aston Villa appear determined to keep hold of Durán unless an exceptional offer comes in. PSG, however, value the striker at around £55 million, creating a significant gap in negotiations. Other clubs are also said to be monitoring his situation.
Jacobs also noted that Aston Villa recently turned down a £57 million bid from West Ham, their second offer this window. The Premier League side is reportedly holding out for offers closer to £85 million (€100 million).

CaughtOffside reported on Saturday, citing sources, that Chelsea reached out to Aston Villa about Duran on Saturday, with PSG believed to be ready to offer €70 million to the striker.
However, this still falls short of Villa’s hefty asking price of €80 million to €90 million. PSG are expected to apply intense pressure on Villa in the final days of the transfer window and may even offer other players as part of the deal.
Meanwhile, Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato reported on Friday that Real Madrid have also expressed interest in the Colombian forward and could join the race. Despite attention from European powerhouses like PSG and Real Madrid, Durán is reportedly considering the possibility of a move to Al-Nassr.
