Unai Emery could ring the changes after a heavy defeat at Crystal Palace in midweek. Marcus Rashford is champing at the bit for inclusion from the start after some encouraging cameos from the bench.

Donyell Malen will also hope for inclusion in the XI, given the Dutchman has not been registered for European competition. Villa face the first leg of their Round of 16 tie with Club Brugge on Tuesday night.

Emery is still dealing with the absences of several stars. Amadou Onana, Pau Torres, Boubacar Kamara and Ross Barkley are not expected back until after March’s international break. Elsewhere, Emi Martinez is a doubt after his withdrawal at Crystal Palace.
