A goal-getter is leaning towards Liverpool as his future destination, but does not want to make a move in the January transfer window.
The January window is now only just over six weeks from opening and clubs are making plans to strengthen their squads mid-season and offload surplus to requirements players.
Liverpool are well placed in the Premier League, sitting top of the pile, and the jury is out on whether Arne Slot’s men will do January business.
They have been heavily linked with Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush, with Bayern Munich also chasing the hitman.
However, according to German daily Bild (via Fussball Transfers), a move is unlikely to take place in January, with Marmoush opposed to switching mid-season.
The striker is also leaning towards a move to Liverpool out of those sides that are interested in him.
A longer stay at Eintracht Frankfurt has, crucially, not been ruled out, if the club can qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Marmoush has a contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until June 2027 and is likely to cost between €50m and €60m to sign.
