Barcelona vice president Elena Fort has on Wednesday provided a fresh update on the club’s push to register Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor.
The respective names of summer signings Olmo and Víctor have of course taken their place front and centre in the media headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of the last week.
This comes as Barcelona’s efforts to register the pair for the remainder of the campaign continue to come up short.
After seeing their appeals rejected by both La Liga and the RFEF, the Blaugrana have now been forced to head down the legal route, through the courts.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, it therefore came as little surprise when the situation as a whole was put to Barca president Elena Fort.
And, during an interview with RAC1, as cited by Marca, Fort went on to admit:
“We have not received any official notification from the CSD regarding the precautionary measure. News travels very quickly, what is certain is that we believe we are right and we hope that this news is fulfilled. What we would like is for them to play today. We do not understand the treatment by LaLiga , but we will wait for the judicial resolution.”
