According to a recent report from SPORT, it has come to light that Barcelona have been keeping a close eye on 18-year-old Adam Aznou, a talented full-back currently on loan at Valladolid from Bayern Munich.
The club has long been focused on strengthening its full-back options, and while they have solid coverage with players like Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde, Barcelona are looking to enhance internal competition.
Their goal is to find at least one “low-cost” option who can provide similar performance to their current full-backs.
One of the players under consideration is Aznou, who was previously part of La Masia before moving to Bayern Munich. Although he is currently with Valladolid for the rest of the season, Barcelona plan to closely monitor his performances.

The Morocco international has a contract with Bayern until 2027. However, with Alphonso Davies recently renewing his contract, Aznou’s opportunities at Bayern may be limited, which could work in Barcelona’s favour if they choose to make a move for him.
Aznou’s departure from Barcelona in the summer of 2022 did cause some disappointment within the club, but this is unlikely to be a significant barrier should the club consider bringing him back.
It is worth noting that current Barcelona players, like Hector Fort and Lamine Yamal, were teammates with Aznou during their time at La Masia.
Given the current situation, Barcelona does not feel the need to make a major investment in another full-back, especially with Kounde and Balde already in the squad. Instead, they are looking for an affordable alternative to further strengthen the squad.
Although Aznou is primarily a left-back, he has played on the right flank as well, providing versatility that could prove valuable to Barcelona as they seek to improve their options across both wings.
