Raphinha has been one of the best players for FC Barcelona this season, leading the team from the front with starring displays.
Only earlier this week, the 28-year-old was Barça’s hero against Benfica, scoring a brace, including a 96th-minute winner to help his team to a 4-5 victory in the Champions League.
In all, Raphinha has already scored 22 goals for the Catalans in 30 matches in all competitions, with only Robert Lewandowski outscoring him.
Now, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are planning on offering Raphinha a new contract in 2025.
Given his performances this season, Barça are clear on what needs to be done with Raphinha – once the renewals of other key players, such as Pedri, Gavi, Ronald Araujo, and Lamine Yamal, are finalised, the club will present the winger with an offer to extend his stay.

The Brazilian forward, who has a contract with the Blaugrana until 2027, wants to remain at the club for a long time.
In addition to his impressive performances, Raphinha’s strong commitment to both the club and the team further strengthens his case.
It is important to remember that last summer, the former Leeds United forward received a very lucrative offer from Al Hilal, but turned it down, stating that his dream is to play and win titles with Barcelona.
As such, everything suggests that Raphinha’s commitment and dedication towards Barcelona will likely be rewarded with a new contract, following the awarding of club captaincy earlier this season.
