Barcelona are heading into 2025 with the key objective of renewing the contracts of their key players, which includes Gavi and Pedri.
The midfield duo has emerged as a priority of sorts, as Barcelona look to safeguard their long-term future at the club.
A recent report from SPORT has indicated that Barcelona have already settled renewal deals for both Pedri and Gavi.
It appears both the players wanted to continue at Barcelona, who are willing to reward them by offering a sizable salary hike.
The Catalans, though, are not in a position to announce the new deals, which will depend on various factors.

For now, Barcelona’s objective is to register the two summer signings, Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. The verdict of the Commercial Court, to that end, could be key.
If the court grants Barça a precautionary measure, Barcelona will only register the duo and hold off on the renewals of Pedri and Gavi.
If not, the club are expected to sanction the sale of the VIP seats at Camp Nou for a figure of around €120 million.
This fresh revenue should be enough to not only register Olmo and Victor but also announce the contract renewal of both Pedri and Gavi.
In addition to these two midfielders, Barcelona are also working on the renewal of Ronald Araujo. The club have been in talks with the Uruguayan international for quite some time now, but an agreement is yet to be reached.
Barring Gavi, Pedri and Araujo, Barcelona are unlikely to consider any new renewals, at least for the time being.
