Barcelona star could join Vitor Roque at Real Betis in January | OneFootball

A 2nd member of the attacking ranks at Barcelona could make his way to La Liga rivals Real Betis on loan before the month is out.

That’s according to Diario Sport, citing Correo de Andalucía, who highlight Ansu Fati as the player in question.

Wide-man Ansu has of course endured something of a nightmare campaign to date in Catalunya’s capital.

Continuing to struggle for game-time owing to a combination of fitness woes and competition for places, the 22-year-old has been somewhat forgotten in Hansi Flick’s star-studded frontline.

Speculation, in turn, has long been doing the rounds, pointing towards a potential January exit for Ansu from Barcelona.

And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then a new suitor appear to have positioned themselves front and centre in the race for the Spaniard’s services.

As per a report from Sport:

‘Real Betis are very positive of the offer made by Barça to loan the striker for the next six months and now the final decision would be in the hands of the player himself.’

Should Ansu ultimately give the green light to a move to Betis, he would join another on-loan Blaugrana frontman in Manuel Pellegrini’s squad, in Vitor Roque.
