A surprise member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona boasts the best goals-per-minute ratio at the club this season.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Ferran Torres as the player in question.

Frontman Ferran is of course fresh off another stellar cameo off the bench at the weekend.

Introduced off the bench with Barcelona in desperate search of goals in a La Liga meeting with Atlético Madrid, the Spanish international provided precisely that.

En route to a remarkable comeback victory for the Blaugrana, Ferran notched a brace, to keep Hansi Flick’s troops in charge of the La Liga title race.

And as alluded to above, in the process, the former Manchester City man secured for himself ownership of an altogether impressive benchmark.

As revealed by Mundo Deportivo, Ferran boasts the best goals-per-minute ratio in Barcelona’s squad this season.

The 25-year-old, who has 13 goals to his name, has managed a goal every 87 minutes across all competitions in 2024/25.

This is just clear of Blaugrana top scorer Robert Lewandowski’s average of a goal every 90 minutes.
