With the winter transfer window now closed, Hansi Flick can finally consider his Barcelona squad complete for the 2024-25 season. The club made no signings during January, choosing instead to rely on the existing group of players until June.
The only potential change could come if Ansu Fati or another player secures a move to Turkey, where the transfer window remains open until February 11, which seems unlikely.
Now, according to Transfermarkt, Barcelona’s squad is currently valued at €1.02 billion, ranking fourth globally. The Catalan giants sit behind Manchester City (€1.3 billion), Real Madrid (€1.23 billion), and Arsenal (€1.15 billion).
They remain ahead of other top clubs like Liverpool (€967.5 million), Chelsea (€936 million), PSG (€870.5 million), and Bayern Munich (€856 million).
Despite some setbacks in the league, Barcelona’s strong overall season has contributed to a significant rise in the squad’s value compared to the previous year.
Several factors have driven this upward trend. The signing of Dani Olmo brought a €60 million boost, while the impressive performances of young stars such as Lamine Yamal, Marc Casado, and Pau Cubarsi have added even more value.

Yamal alone is now valued at €180 million, having doubled his worth in just one season. Cubarsí’s value has risen from €30 million to €70 million.
Other players have also seen substantial increases. Raphinha’s value has climbed from €50 million to €80 million, Pedri’s from €80 million to €100 million, and Jules Kounde’s from €45 million to €60 million.
Fermin Lopez and Casado have also experienced noteworthy increases, with the former now valued at €50 million and the latter rising from €2.5 million to €30 million.
However, not all players have benefited from this trend. Frenkie de Jong’s valuation has dropped from €70 million to €45 million.
Andreas Christensen has seen his worth decline from €40 million to €20 million, while Ronald Araujo’s value has fallen from €70 million to €55 million.
Overall, Barcelona’s ability to maintain and even grow its squad value year after year highlights the club’s focus on nurturing emerging talents and making strategic player acquisitions.
