Sky Germany reports that Manchester United are interested in both RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Seško and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitiké as they look to boost their attacking options in the summer.
The Premier League side are said to be unhappy with Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Højlund, brother of Frankfurt midfielder Oscar, and are looking at alternative options.
When it comes to Seško, the Slovenian has a release clause where the value will be dependent on his goals, assists and playing time from now until the end of the season. The current fee amounts to €70m, but can still rise from now until May and in the best case scenario will be worth €80m. Arsenal have also been linked to Seško.
Ekitiké on the other hand does not have a release clause. Frankfurt expects the Frenchman to leave the banks of the Main this summer, but Frankfurt will only let him leave for at least €80m. The 22-year-old has stepped up since the departure of striker partner Omar Marmoush in January.
