Board of TSG Hoffenheim e.V. starts dialogue on club statutes | OneFootball

The board of TSG Hoffenheim e.V. is taking a new approach to communicating with the club's members and is placing an emphasis on a targeted dialogue ahead of planned changes to the club's statutes. Approximately 50 members met in the VIP room of the Dietmar-Hopp-Stadion at the invitation of the board, which is led by Jörg Albrecht (First Chairman of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim e.V.), to discuss possible amendments to the club's statutes.

The cheerful conversation lasted around two hours, during which several sections of the current statutes that need to be updated were discussed, as Jörg Albrecht emphasised: "We have recognised the signs of the times here and are also taking into account feedback at and after the general meeting in September of last year."

Albrecht deemed the dialogue with the members at the first TSG Hoffenheim e.V. forum of this kind to be entirely positive: "The evening went as it should. The board and members exchanged opinions and presented their points of view on an equal footing. These are important steps towards rapprochement, which we are taking with the goal of modernising the current statutes for the good of the club."

The dialogue will now additionally continue outside of the forum in the run-up to the next general meeting on 2 June 2025, at which the members will be asked to vote on formulated proposals for amendments to the current statutes.
