Lazio midfielder Fisayo-Dele-Bashiru could be available for the club’s next contest against Torino after resuming training with his teammates.
The 24-year-old twisted his ankle last month during the Serie A contest against Venezia. Although he made his return to action in the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16 against Viktoria Plzen, he suffered a relapse ahead of the devastating defeat in Bologna three days later, which ruled him out of the contest.
But according to La Lazio Siamo Noi, the Nigerian star has returned to group training on Wednesday, which should pave the way for his return to the squad against Torino on Monday. On the other hand, Taty Castellanos, Nuno Tavares and Arijon Ibrahimovic are still on the treatment table, while Patric has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery.
Castellanos is targeting a return in the Derby against Roma on April 13th, while Tavares could be available for the Torino clash.
The source adds that Christos Mandas, Mario Gila and Oliver Provstgaard were the first players to make their return from the international break, while Nicolo Rovella, Mattia Zaccagni, Matteo Guendouzi, Gustav Isaksen, Loum Tchaouna, Boulaye Dia and Adam Marusic are expected to follow suit on Thursday.
Marco Baroni is still waiting to have a full squad at his disposal to begin the tactical preparations for Monday’s contest against the Granata.
