Cambiaso Agent Renews His Commitment to Juventus

Andrea Cambiaso was rumored to leave Juventus in January to head to Manchester City and he will be buzzed about in the summer as well, as his side might need to cash in on some players. His agent Giovanni Bia stated that he’s keen on staying put long-term (via SOSFanta).

“His season has been very positive at the beginning, when he had some marvelous performances. Then, he had this huge ankle problem that hampered him for two months. He had healed, but then he sprained it again versus Atalanta. We hope he’ll be back Sunday. He’s focused on that. He wants to help his side achieve the Champions League goal, their only remaining one now.”

Bia addressed Thiago Motta’s firing, who had already groomed Cambiaso at Bologna.

“They had a great relationship, and he has always been thankful. He was the first coach who put him on the path to becoming one of the best players in Europe. He’s sorry for how things have gone. Now he’ll embrace Igor Tudor because he’s a professional and wishes to contribute. He hasn’t had problems with any coach.”

Cambiaso isn’t in a rush to depart despite the chatter.

“He’s completely focused on Juventus. Then, the links are normal since he’s one of the best. There’ll be some movement at his position, for instance Trent Alexander-Arsenal could go to Real Madrid. But he doesn’t care about that. His goal is to be at Juventus and do well with them. He’s very happy and has stated it many times. His dream is to lift his club back to elite levels and have a great career, helping it be successful. I have no doubts they’ll manage in one or two years.”
