Milan Futuro were always likely to have growing pains in their first season in Serie C, but there is some worry about the lack of results and above all the lack of goals.

As Calciomercato.com write, Daniele Bonera’s returned from the away game at the Stadio Romeo Neri in Rimini with an undeserved 1-0 defeat. They were on top throughout the game, they hit the crossbar through Mattia Liberali and yet the end result was zero goals and zero points.

Daniele Bonera fired a warning after the game that good performances must soon turn into wins otherwise there will be trouble in the table. The objective that the management set since the birth of the project is about growing young players, yet staying in the division is an obvious minimum.

The path foresaw initial difficulties that have promptly materialised with two draws and three defeats in the first five games. It would be wrong to press the panic button just yet but there is a sense of responsibility to start getting some wins.

However, having Francesco Camarda and Liberali available more (after a couple of senior call-ups) plus Hugo Cuenca and Chaka Traorè is good news, meaning Milan Futuro must do better in front of goal having scored zero times from open play.
