After a fantastic start to the season, AC Milan are looking to offer Tijjani Reijnders a renewal, and confidence is growing.
Reijnders is very much included in the discussion about Milan’s best players currently. Perhaps, you could also enter him into other conversations. Maybe the best midfielder in the league, and then could you even add him to the conversation regarding European midfielders?
As Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News) write, the Dutchman is ‘Milan’s gold’, a player who has grown immensely since joining and will only continue to do so with continuity. The Rossoneri bought the player for €21 million, but on the mercato, they would now seek €60m.
However, they have no intention of selling and more importantly, Tijji has no intention of leaving – perhaps, due to the Diavolo’s interest in renewing his deal, something which, according to the report, impressed him and his family.
For this reason, there is boosted confidence about the Rossoneri’s chances, and Casa Milan is growing in optimism. Whilst Manchester City and Barcelona remain interested, there can be little done if Reijnders renews, and there are no signs of him wanting to look for a move elsewhere.
Milan anticipated the interest from elsewhere, and made their move to secure his future, just as they did nearly 18 months ago. Always first for Reijnders.
