Napoli are unwilling to pay a penny to sign Danilo in January, but Juventus are reluctant to release the player for free, reports in Italy suggest.
Napoli hope to sign Juventus defender Danilo for free this month as the player is no longer part of Thiago Motta’s plans.
Danilo was not included in the team for the Supercoppa Italiana and his contract runs out this coming June.

However, Juventus seem unwilling to release the player for free in January, according to the latest Corriere dello Sport report.
The Brazilian defender already has a principle of agreement with Napoli and is willing to join the club this month after rejecting offers from Al-Nassr and Vasco da Gama.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are waiting for a meeting between the defender and Juventus’ executives, but the Partenopei are unwilling to pay any transfer fee for the 33-year-old, who is destined to move to the Maradona on a free transfer in the summer anyway.
Meantime, Danilo shared a cryptic message in his latest Instagram post: “What is heroic in a human being is not belonging to the herd,” wrote the ex-Real Madrid and Manchester City defender.
