“The matter is very simple. I didn’t wake up one day and said I would run, because somebody needs to formally back me. None of the voters asked me to take on such a role for now. That being said, it’s not an outright ‘no.’ However, I have to sit down with somebody who wants me and discuss. I’d like to understand certain things. It’s not that easy. There’s nothing concrete at the moment. Nobody has nominated me for the job, not even the Players’ Association.”
