Enzo Raiola, the agent of first-choice Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, insists that he has received no formal proposals from Inter, nor from any other club, and says that talks over a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain are still ongoing.

Donnarumma is under contract with PSG until the summer of 2026, which means that he will be entering the final year of his contract at the start of next season.

There have been recent suggestions in the Italian press that Inter could be ready to pounce on the former Milan graduate, especially if he decides against extending his stay in Paris.

Yann Sommer, Inter’s current first choice, will also be out of contract at the same time as Donnarumma, in 2026, and the Nerazzurri are still considering options for his long-term heir.

However, Raiola has revealed that there has not been any formal contact from Inter as things stand.

“There has been no contact, either with Inter or with any other club,” Raiola told ChiamarsiBomber.com, reported via Calciomercato.com.

Instead, Donnarumma and his agent remain in talks over a contract extension with PSG.

“Donnarumma is the goalkeeper for PSG and the national team and is highly appreciated by several clubs, as is normal. Contacts over a renewal already began last summer and we are working in that direction with a lot of calmness.

“In light of the rules imposed by UEFA, the club is doing a U-turn from a financial point of view, going from a wage bill of over €500m to less than half. We have accepted PSG’s new policy in terms of contract management and we are working on the renewal.

“At the moment, there is no hurry.”
