Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has named a surprise Chelsea player in his squad who won a physical test recently in training.
A lot is being said about Chelsea right now and how some of the players are out of form as they lost yet another game at the weekend.
The Blues lost 2-1 against Aston Villa on Saturday evening after being 1-0 up inside the first 20 minutes. I think Chelsea fans would have just expected even at that point, that their side were still going to lose this game, and they did.
Yet another horror goalkeeper error from Chelsea saw Villa grab the winning goal near the end of the game, but we all saw it coming.
Chelsea could not score and were really terrible. Even Cole Palmer was terrible, and he was seen trying to blame others for a bad pass that HE himself made. This just about sums everything up right now.
Tonight they have a chance to grab three points at home to Southampton, but they are going to need their best players like Cole Palmer to rediscover some form.

Maresca was asked if Palmer trains harder when he’s out of form:
“Absolutely. I will tell you one detail that is very important. Every six or seven months, we do a physical test. We did one in pre-season, and we did one last week. He was the strongest one of all the squad.”
“He was the one that “won” the test. It was a physical test. It shows his desire. Not only on the ball. He is working hard and he is doing fantastic.”
That’s the best way to react and the best attitude to have.
