FC Barcelona have had to play most part of this season without several of their key players because of injuries. One of the most important defenders in the team, Ronald Araujo, has not been able to play his first minutes under Hansi Flick yet, while other important players have also missed significant game time.
However, fortunately, the Blaugranes have seen their infirmary empty out to a significant degree in the last few weeks, as players like Frenkie de Jong, Gavi, Fermin Lopez, Dani Olmo, Eric Garcia, Ferran Torres, and Lamine Yamal have made their returns from their respective injuries.
As things stand, only five Barcelona players are still in the infirmary, and Mundo Deportivo has provided an update on their situations and expected return dates.

The German goalkeeper is out with a complete tear of his patellar tendon, which he suffered in the game against Villarreal. He has already undergone surgery to recover from this issue and is expected to remain on the sidelines for the rest of this season.
2: Andreas Christensen
The Danish defender has been suffering from tendinopathy in his left Achilles tendon for quite some time now but has been unable to play since August. After an unsuccessful conservative treatment, the center-back underwent surgery last month, and it is still not clear when he will return to the pitch.

The Uruguayan defender has been unable to play since the 2024 Copa America, in which he suffered a hamstring injury. He also had to undergo surgery to recover from this issue, but is now getting close to returning to action, and his return is now imminent. He could possibly return to action against Borussia Dortmund or even against Real Betis depending on his sensations.

A hamstring injury was the latest of the numerous physical problems the Spaniard has faced in his career. When he suffered this injury on November 13th, he was expected to miss around four weeks of action, thus he can return to the field after this week.
5: Marc Bernal
The young Barcelona midfielder was very unfortunate to suffer an ACL tear as he was making a name for himself with the first team at the start of this season. He also had to undergo surgery to recover from this issue, and is expected to remain on the sidelines for the next ten months.
