Fabio Paratici was close to returning to Serie A with Milan earlier this year but now it seems like he will go back to his former club Tottenham Hotspur. As per TMW, Paratici is ready to take over as Spurs’ Sporting Director once again, and take charge of their transfer dealings with the window now close to opening. Spurs have had a historically poor league season and are 16th in the Premier League. However, it could still be a very successful season as at the time of writing, they have one foot in the Europa League final, with a comfortable first leg lead over Bodo/Glimt in the semifinals. Whether they win their first trophy since 2008 is something that only time will tell, but it is undeniable that they need to get their incomings and outgoings right in the summer. That is why Daniel Levy has decided to bring back the Italian. It is worth remembering that Paratici is currently serving a ban handed to him by FIGC and that is why he had left the English club in the first place. But Levy kept a good relationship with him and it seems like he will be welcomed back to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium with open arms once his ban ends on July 20. Kaulik Mitra | GIFN
