After AC Milan beat Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, Zlatan Ibrahimovic had some words of motivation for the squad, and they have been revealed.

Several important faces were present for Milan’s fixture against Real, and the Rossoneri even had the support of some injured teammates, who wanted to further support the group from within rather than watching from afar.

Following the game, Gerry Cardinale offered the team some words of support, stating his happiness about the result, whilst also reminding them that he is always approachable when needed. However, he was present alongside other members of the Diavolo’s management – notably Ibrahimovic, who also had some words for the squad, according to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News).

Once again, he spoke with the aim of motivating the team, aiming to strengthen them and further give them confidence about their situation. However, it also served as a reminder that they had set their own levels, and they must be the standard rather than infrequent outliers.

Travelling to Cagliari is perhaps the perfect follow-up game, as respectfully, there will not be as much drive to get a result, so they will have to motivate themselves to match the level of performance.
