Yann Bisseck is set to receive yet another chance to shine for Inter Milan in today’s Serie A match against Fiorentina.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
24-year-old German youth team international Bisseck has already made a big impact for Inter.
The former Aarhus defender has received quite a few starts so far in the campaign.
These have included in massively high profile matches against the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal.
Meanwhile, last season Bisseck scored his first goal of the season for Inter against Hellas Verona.
And now, an injury to Benjamin Pavard will give more chances to Bisseck to show what he can contribute.
Pavard picked up a thigh injury against RB Leipzig in this past week’s Champions league win.
That injury will likely see the Frenchman on the sidelines for the rest of 2024.
Therefore, Bisseck will almost certainly get quite a bit more playing time over the next few weeks.
This evening’s match away to Fiorentina could be the start of a run in the team for Bisseck.
And considering that La Viola look to be direct title rivals for Inter, level on points in the Serie A table at the start of the weekend, it will be a great chance for the German to prove what he can do.
