Inter get Feyenoord in Champions League Round of 16 draw | OneFootball

Inter have been drawn with Feyenoord in the Champions League Round of 16.

The draw took place in Nyon on Friday.

The Nerazzurri are the only Serie A club remaining in Europe’s elite competition. The defending Serie A champions will meet Feyenoord in the Round of 16.

The Dutch side had already eliminated Inter’s city rivals Milan in the knockout playoff.

Inter didn’t have to go through the playoff stage, having already qualified for the Round of 16 by finishing in the top eight in the league phase.

Inter finished fourth in the opening stage of the competition, collecting six wins, one draw, and one loss. During the league phase, they scored 11 goals (1.38 per match) and conceded just once (0.13 per match), maintaining seven clean sheets.

They finished level on points with Arsenal, but the Gunners finished third in the standings thanks to a better goal difference: 13 to 10.

UEFA will soon release the dates and times for the Champions League Round of 16 fixtures. Inter will play the second leg at home.
