Inter Milan squeaked past Barcelona in one of the most fascinating semi-final ties in Champions League history.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, last night’s showdown at San Siro was ‘one of the best in history.’
After a 3-3 first-leg draw at Montjuic, not even the most optimistic football fans could’ve expected another goal fest.
However, last evening’s game surpassed all expectations as Inter and Barcelona gifted football enthusiasts a memorable experience.

Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Calhanoglu handed Inter a comfortable-looking 2-0 lead at halftime.
But Barcelona fought back after the break.
Indeed, goals from Eric Garcia, Dani Olmo, and Raphinha saw Los Blaugranas take the lead into stoppage time.
Yet, Francesco Acerbi restored parity to take the match into extra time, where Davide Frattesi was ready and waiting.
The Italian midfielder scored a goal worthy of a Champions League final to send San Siro into raptures.
In addition to a seven-goal thriller, the match produced plenty of controversy and drama, largely thanks to Szymon Marciniak.
