Simone Inzaghi feels that it’s “a reason to be proud” that Inter Milan are still fighting on all fronts at this stage of the season.
The Nerazzurri coach gave his thoughts to Radio TV Serie A con RDS, via FCInterNews.
The next couple of weeks are set to be pivotal ones for Inter Milan.
This weekend, the Nerazzurri take on Napoli. There is a sense that the match could prove to be a title-decider, considering that it pits the top two teams in the Serie A table.
Inter have recovered from dropped points against the likes of AC Milan, Fiorentina, and Juventus this month.
The Nerazzurri actually sit one point clear of Napoli. The Partenopei have failed to win any of their last four matches.
Then, there will be a head-to-head match against another title rival in the form of Atalanta. That comes just before the international break.
It is not just defending their Serie A title that Inter have to fight for, however.
This week, Inter advanced to the semifinals of the Coppa Italia. A 2-0 win over Lazio sets up a two-legged derby against AC Milan in the next round in April.

Inter had won the Coppa Italia in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, before bombing out in the round of sixteen last season.
Meanwhile, in the Champions League. Inter are very much alive.
This week, the Nerazzurri face Feyenoord in the first of two legs of a round of sixteen tie.
And Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is happy with this situation. Even if it means that there are more matches than ever for his team to play.
“Being in the running in all competitions is a reason for great pride for Inter,” said the coach.
