Inter Milan President ‘Optimistic But Realistic’ Ahead Of Champions League Final Showdown Vs PSG

Beppe Marotta says that he is “optimistic but realistic” ahead of the Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan.
Marotta spoke to Italian broadcaster TG1, via FCInterNews. He gave his thoughts ahead of the final.
Inter Milan will face Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Champions League on May 31st.
The Nerazzurri booked their place in the final with a spectacular 7-6 aggregate win over Barcelona in the semfinals.
Meanwhile, PSG overcame Arsenal in a cagier tie which ended 3-1 on aggregate.
Along the way, Inter have managed impressive results against the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal, and RB Leipzig along the way, before eliminating Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals.
PSG, meanwhile, had a rockier start to their Champions League campaign. However, they’ve grown into the competition, with impressive victories over the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, and Aston Villa.

Inter Milan President Beppe Marotta said that the semifinal second leg against Barcelona was “an epic evening, both on and off the pitch.”
“We’d won the match,” he recalled. “Then we lost it. But then we came back, and finally we really won it.”
“I’m used to experiencing emotions like this,” Marotta said.
“But the ones that I experienced last night, in terms of adrenaline, are definitely the best that I’ve ever felt.”
Then, Marotta praised Inter’s coach for orchestrating this Champions League success. “The primary actor, the architect of this ride we’re on, is definitely Simone Inzaghi,” he said.
And of the Champions League final, Marotta said “I’m not superstitious in life. I’m very optimistic, but realistic.”
