The first 2024-25 Champions League finalist will be confirmed tonight as Barcelona head to the San Siro to face Inter Milan. The two sides are honours even after the first leg, an instant classic which finished 3-3.

The 17-year-old Lamine Yamal has adorned the world’s back pages since taking centre stage in the first leg, terrorising the Inter back line and scoring a dazzling solo goal to open Barca’s account on the night. His goals were matched for quality by Inter’s openers - a backheel flick from Marcus Thuram and an overhead kick from Denzel Dumfries. The Dutch wing-back would put Inter ahead late with a well-placed header, before Raphina’s long-range effort rattled the crossbar and deflected in off of Yann Sommer to equalise again.

In a boost for Inter, both Benjamin Pavard and Lautaro Martinez are expected to return. The former missed the first leg with an ankle sprain, while the latter was substituted early with a knock, though Barcelona will also be improved as Robert Lewandowski is back in contention.
