Simone Inzaghi will have to delicately manage the playing time of Marcus Thuram ahead of the Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They note that the Frenchman is Inter’s fifth most-used outfield player this season.
In twenty days, Inter Milan will take on Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Champions League.
The Nerazzurri will want to have their key players not just available, but at their best for that season-defining match.

Marcus Thuram has not been without his fitness struggles in recent weeks, however.
The 27-year-old was out for several weeks with a nagging ankle problem in the spring. This not only ruled him out of a few matches, but it also caused him to look a bit off the pace when available.
Then, Thuram missed three matches for Inter with a muscle issue in the aftermath of the Nerazzurri’s Champions League quarterfinal tie against Bayern Munich.
However, the Frenchman did manage to return for the semifinal tie against Barcelona.
Now, Thuram will certainly have his sights on the final.
Inter know that having the Frenchman on the pitch – and looking sharp – could be the decisive factor against Paris Saint-Germain.
Therefore, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will take no risks with Thuram’s fitness in the next few weeks.
That does not mean that the 27-year-old won’t feature in any of Inter’s final three Serie A matches of the season.
However, there will certainly be no chance of Inzaghi running Thuram into the ground.
