Chelsea returned to winning ways against Southampton and journalist Rahman Osman has reported what he saw Robert Sanchez do after one of the goals.
The Blues cruised to a 4-0 win against the Saints thanks to goals from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill and Marc Cucurella.
Enzo Maresca’s men were able to keep a rare clean sheet, their first since the goalless draw with Everton on December 22nd last year.
Chelsea were rarely troubled by Southampton, although Filip Jorgensen did make a couple of good saves, which went someway to atoning for his error against Aston Villa on Saturday.
The Blues spent a lot of money to bring in set piece coach Bernardo Cueva from Brentford last summer, but have yet to see much of a return.
However, Chelsea did score from a set piece when Colwill headed home from Pedro Neto’s free-kick, and it’s something the Blues need to do more of.

Whilst Colwill and the fans were celebrating few would have noticed what was happening on the bench, but Osman has provided some insight.
He reported in Four Four Two that after Colwill scored Sanchez jumped off the bench to celebrate with Cueva, to seemingly indicate it’s something Chelsea had been working on in training.
Despite the difficult run of form there seems to a be a strong togetherness within the squad, which bodes well for the remainder of the campaign.
Sanchez has had a difficult season littered with mistakes, and he was dropped after making a costly error against Manchester City, which supporters booed him for.
