Juventus will work on multiple deals in the final stretch of the window, but director Cristiano Giuntoli clarified that they are looking to add rather than sell and replace in an interview with Sky before the Club Brugge match.
“There’s not much time left, so it’s normal to be busy. I think that we will announce Randal Kolo Muani soon. They are completing the paperwork. It should happen Wednesday. We believe we will be competitive at the highest levels soon. We started a new path this year and changed a lot, but that’s our objective.” “Our goal is always to do our best. January is peculiar, and you can’t always pull off what you wish for. We’ll sign interesting players who will help us and prove their quality along the way.”
Giuntoli was quizzed about Dusan Vlahovic potentially leaving Juventus in January as the rumors about his exit have resurfaced.
“We don’t want to do anything in that direction. We aim to bolster the squad with some newcomers without selling anybody. That’s our will.”
In addition to the striker, Andrea Cambiaso and Douglas Luiz have been linked to Manchester City, but Juventus have set steep conditions to part ways with them. There’s not a lot of momentum at this stage. The Old Lady wants €100M for the duo, TuttoSport informs.
