Tuttosport newspaper reports that Manchester United are ready to consider loan offers for ex-Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee and Juventus are leading the race for the Dutch forward.

Serie A giants Juventus need a centre-back and a centre-forward in the January transfer window, and according to the latest report from Tuttosport newspaper, the Bianconeri are ready to pounce on ex-Bologna striker Zirkzee.

The 23-year-old striker is struggling with playing time at Old Trafford, and according to the report, new Red Devils’ coach Rúben Amorim has already asked to replace him with Victor Gyokeres.

This is why United will consider a loan move for Zirkzee in the January transfer window, and Juventus are naturally leading the race for the Netherlands international.

Zirkzee thrived at Bologna under Thiago Motta last season and has 14 goals and nine assists in 57 appearances under the former midfielder at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

Zirkzee joined Manchester United from Bologna in a deal exceeding €40m last summer, but he has only scored one goal in 17 appearances and hasn’t started a Premier League match since September 29.
