Isak Hien is set to make his return from injury for Atalanta in Serie A matches against Juventus and Inter Milan next month.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

It has not been a positive couple of weeks for Atalanta.

La Dea crashed out of the Champions League. They lost both legs of their round of sixteen playoff tie against Club Brugge.

Meanwhile, Atalanta also drew against Cagliari in Serie A last weekend.

And the Lombard team have suffered yet another blow. Centre-back Isak Hien will be out of action for a couple weeks due to an adductor injury.

Isak Hien To Make Return For Atalanta For Juventus & Inter Milan Serie A Clashes

Isak Hien is certainly a key player for Atalanta.

The 26-year-old Swedish international is the regular starter at the centre of La Dea’s back three.

Therefore, Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini will hardly want to do without Hien.

But according to the Gazzetta, Hien will definitely miss a couple matches.

The Swede will be out for Serie A clashes with the likes of Empoli and Venezia.

However, reports the Gazzetta, Hien should be back soon enough.

The former Hellas Verona defender will target huge Serie A matches against the likes of Juventus and Inter in March to make his return.
