Leandro Paredes’ future is yet to be resolved as the player continues to be linked with a return to Boca Juniors at the end of the season.
But after all, Leandro Paredes could stay in Rome beyond June, provided he accepts a significant reduction in his current salary.
According to Leggo, the Argentine midfielder, who returned to the Giallorossi in the summer of 2023, is a key player in Claudio Ranieri’s midfield, especially in tandem with Koné, with whom he seems to have found an ideal understanding for the style of play desired by the coach.
Despite the negotiations for the renewal being complicated, especially for financial reasons, Paredes has repeatedly reiterated his desire to end his career at Boca Juniors, a club to which he is deeply attached.
However, the Argentine has promised to fully honor his contract with Roma until its natural expiry in June.
The future remains uncertain, but if the parties find an agreement, the player could continue to be a point of reference in the middle of the field.
Ranieri, meanwhile, is enjoying a motivated Paredes who is ready to give his all for the Giallorossi cause, while the fans hope for a final part of the season that can convince both parties to extend their agreement.
