Upon returning to the Premier League, Leicester City have not had the best time. After 11 games played, Leicester are just three points above the drop-off zone. Therefore, they are not safe yet.

Heading into the November international break, the Foxes are 15th in the table. However, the bottom quarter of the table is incredible tight. For context, only six points separate Leicester from Southampton, who are rock bottom of the table.

Steve Cooper has only managed 11 games, but he is understood to be walking on a thin tightrope in the East Midlands. Might he be replaced by a Premier League legend?

Leicester City might replace Steve Cooper with former Man United boss

According to a report by talkSPORT, Leicester City are one of the four Premier League clubs interested in appointing David Moyes. The former Man United boss would like to return to Premier League management.

Leicester, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Southampton would like to appoint David Moyes. All four of the mentioned clubs are within the bottom six of the Premier League table.

David Moyes has an incredible legacy in the Premier League. He is remembered fondly at each of his previous clubs, even winning the UEFA Conference League with West Ham.

His career was at risk of being tarnished after taking on the impossible job of replacing Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United. However, we all know how spoilt Man United fans are, and the Scot certainly proved them wrong by improving after leaving Old Trafford.

David Moyes has been without a job since leaving West Ham United last season. Now, the Hammers are only two points ahead of Leicester. Julen Lopetegui is not having a great start, which might leave a taste of regret in the London side's mouth.

From Leicester's perspective, there is no denying that the appointment of David Moyes would benefit the club tremendously. After all, he has incredible pedigree and would get the players on board with the vision, something that might be missing with Steve Cooper.

That said, I would also be open to the idea of keeping Steve Cooper in charge and giving him a shot at redemption. Leicester have not played bad, so to speak, and they are aligned with their objective of staying up. The Foxes would just like, ideally, to be in a more comfortable position after the break.
