RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko caught Paris Saint-Germain’s attention last summer as the club searched for a reliable goal scorer to replace Kylian Mbappe. With Randal Kolo Muani likely on his way out this summer, PSG may finally land a No. 9 with Luis Enrique’s approval.
The Slovenian forward is under contract with Leipzig through 2029 and carries a price tag between €70 million and €75 million. He had an impressive 2023-24 season, scoring 18 goals and recording two assists in 42 appearances.
Although PSG’s sporting advisor, Luis Campos, explored several striker options, he ultimately chose not to sign one. Sesko has maintained his strong form into the 2024-25 season, tallying 17 goals and five assists in 34 matches across all competitions.

GIVE ME SPORT reported Thursday, citing sources, that Liverpool have a genuine interest in Sesko as part of a potential squad overhaul. Mohamed Salah’s future remains uncertain, while questions linger over Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota. Darwin Nunez is also expected to leave the club.
While it’s unlikely all these players will depart at once, Liverpool may need reinforcements to stay competitive.
Sky Sports Germany previously reported, citing sources, that Manchester United, Tottenham, and Arsenal are also interested in Sesko, whose €80 million release clause can be triggered this summer.
