The winter transfer window is closed, and for now, Alexander Isak remains with Newcastle United. There wasn’t much talk about a move this winter, but several clubs, including PSG, will likely make another push in the summer.
According to RMC Sport, PSG are willing to offer Goncalo Ramos, Randal Kolo Muani, and Marco Asensio in a swap deal to land Isak from Newcastle.
Liverpool are reportedly targeting Alexander Isak ahead of the summer transfer window and have begun talks with his representatives, per Sky Switzerland journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The Reds are preparing a significant offer for the Sweden international and are willing to break from their usual transfer strategy to secure the 25-year-old forward.
Newcastle have reportedly set Isak’s price at €180 million (£150 million), which would make him Liverpool’s record signing, surpassing the £85 million they paid for Darwin Nunez in 2022.

In a Q&A session with The Athletic, David Ornstein revealed that Liverpool is interested in Isak but only under the right conditions, amid interest from Arsenal and other top European clubs.
“They will obviously have multiple options on their radar but the only name I’ve personally heard of so far – which others have already reported – is Alexander Isak,” Ornstein said.
“Liverpool aren’t alone in liking the Swede – we know Mikel Arteta wants to sign him, Chelsea and Barcelona have been also been linked and I’m sure many other sides would be keen, too, if the opportunity arose.
“But that’s a big ‘if’. Newcastle have no intention of selling their best player and, understandably, don’t welcome this kind of conversation.”
This season, Isak scored 19 goals in the Premier League with only Mohamed Salah (25) and Erling Haaland (20) scoring more goals.
