The convincing performance in the derby would have extinguished any market rumors about Lorenzo Pellegrini.

The Roma captain was not going through an easy time, given the underwhelming performances of the last few months, but the match against Lazio could be the turning point of his season.

According to the newspaper, in fact, negotiations with Napoli have wiped from the player’s agent’s calendar for this month.

Everything has been postponed to June, including the possibility of a renewal of the contract expiring in June 2026.
