Magpies await Carabao Cup semi-final draw | OneFootball

The Magpies have beaten Nottingham Forest, AFC Wimbledon, Chelsea and Brentford en route to securing their place in the semi-final stages of the competition for a second time in their last three seasons.

Eddie Howe's side will learn their last-four opponents this evening as the draw will take place live on Sky Sports and the Carabao Cup's X channel following the conclusion of Tottenham Hotspur's quarter-final tie at home to Manchester United on Thursday, 19th December.

Newcastle are also joined by Arsenal and Liverpool, who won the trophy last season, in the hat following their respective quarter-final victories against Crystal Palace and Southampton.

Sky Sports’ Carabao Cup presenter Mark Chapman will host the draw alongside former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp and former Manchester City forward Izzy Christiansen.

Ball numbers for the draw are as follows:

1. Arsenal

2. Liverpool

3. Newcastle United

4. Tottenham Hotspur or Manchester United

The Carabao Cup semi-final ties will take place over two legs across the week commencing Monday, 6th January 2025 and the week commencing Monday, 3rd February 2025 for a place in the final at Wembley Stadium.
